- One of my pen’s lights are flashing- the back LED light is glowing red and the front LED is flashing green, is my pen broken?
- No, the temperature setting needs to be confirmed. Click one of the speed buttons to lock in your selection, this should start the pen heating up cycle.
- I used my pen on the ABS setting, but I had PLA in my pen and now it seems stuck. How do I fix it?
- PLA should only be used on the PLA heat setting, as it is low temperature. ABS is high heat, and can cause the PLA to swell and clog the pen. Try removing the nozzle, when the pen is on and the LED is green. Place the tip of the unblocking tool in the nozzle area and allow it to heat up for 60-90 seconds. Then put the pen in reverse and use the tool to push the clog out the back of the pen.
- Why does my pen keep turning off and on?
- This occurs when the wrong adapter is used to plug the pen in. You might be using a smart power adapter, in order for the pen to function properly it is important you use the provided adapter.
- Why does my pen say "SLP?
- When the pen is not used for two minutes, it goes into sleep mode. To wake the pen press click either speed button.
- How do I change my plastic type?
- Clear out the plastic in the pen. Disconnect the pen from the power source and then plug it back in. You can now set the temperature you’d like for the type of plastic you want to use.
